UPSC CSE Preliminary Results 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination, 2022 on its official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in on Wednesday, June 22. The test took place on June 5.

Those applicants who were successful in the preliminary examination were eligible to go on to the main examination for the Civil Service in 2022. They will need to submit a new application online using a (Detailed Application Form), which will be made available at the appropriate time. Important dates, as well as instructions for filling out and submitting the DAF-I, will be available on the website of the UPSC. At this point, the candidates who have already qualified for the main ones are still considered to have provisional candidacies.
Notes for the 2022 Civil Services Preliminaries, as well as court notes and answer keys, will not be released on the UPSC website until after the commission has announced the final result.
The UPSC Civil Service Examination is broken up into two phases that are conducted one after the other: 1) A preliminary test of an objective nature for the purpose of selecting candidates for the primary examination 2) The Main Examination for the Civil Service, which consists of both a written test and an interview, is used to choose applicants for various services and publications.
