Description

The VWR Microplate shaker can accomodate four standard microplates at once for a time of 1 second to 99 hours and a speed from 100 to 1200rpm. Digital display, touchpad controls, very user friendly. Springs hold microplates in
place, and a gradual ramp speed means no spillage of samples due to too quick of startup or shutdown. Dimensions are 11x4x17" and a weight of 25 pounds, so it is small enough and light enough to be moved around the lab easily with a small footprint for such a useful device.
NOTE: this instrument is for 230V only and cannot be converted. It was designed for the Euro market and we will provide the appropriate power cord for your country.
We tested this in our lab in Sonora California and it worked fine. The only problem we could find was in setting the timer for durations under 15 seconds, because it take at least ten seconds to ramp to speed. Other than that we encountered no problems.
