Vintage Floor Lamp Light Base Modern Medicine Battle Creek Sanitarium Industrial

Description

Antique Cast Iron claw foot base. I believe this has to do with the  Battle Creek Sanitarium. The only thing I can find on Modern Medicine Co. Battle Creek Mich. is a publication by Dr Kellogg. This 3 footed cast Iron base is in good antique condition, it does have paint loss and surface rust.  No cracks or repairs noted. It is embossed with "MODERN MEDICINE CO. BATTLE CREEK MICH." and has 3 claw feet. The paint left is assumed to be original as this is how we found it. This is probably a very rare piece to find. I would guess it would have had some type of light attached to it. I could not find a lot of information when researching, so this is my assumption. Thanks.
