Gilt CUPIDS JEWEL CASKET Ormolu Pink Beveled GLASS 6 Side French Vitrine Vintage

Offered from a local NJ estate  is a vintage gold ormolu and filigree Vitrine
with 6 oval peachy pink beveled glass panels each with a standing gold metal cupid or putti figure between
the lid is large round beveled glass also in the same pink
all glass is without chips, scratches or mars and all teeth holding it in place are there and good
The hinge is a bit loose but lid sits straight and interior padded liner is original
However 2 of the applied curving French feet are bent so the box sits slightly askew
These could be straightened with care, but as this is white metal they will break if not done with care.
There is the beginning of a crack on one now but adding a
strengthening piece
underneath should fix this problem as these do not bend or straighten well.
7" across and about 6" tall, this is a great size jewel box and will show your prized pieces off well
