Antique McCourt 3 Drawer Wood Pharmacy Label Dispenser Cabinet, Early 1900s.
This handsome cabinet measures 16-1/2” wide x 6-3/4” deep x 13” tall.
It has three drawers with adjustable dividers, although some have been glued in place.
The drawers are nailed and glued construction with a decorative dentil shaped top edge. There are holes in the dividers as well as the ends of the drawers for a rod to secure the roll of labels (not included), which would have extended out of the drawer to be easily torn off and applied to the pharmacy bottle. The inside of the cabinet is stamped behind the bottom drawer: #15674.
There are small holes on the front edge of the cabinet and drawers indicating there was some molding or label plate that is missing.
The top is very worn and there are lots of scratches a chip in the wood.
