  • Condition: Only mentionable issue is paint erosion. I find two places of ever-so-tiny flakes off the inner fitter rim, detected using the finger test and virtually invisible. No breaks, large chips, other flakes, mends, bends, or other mentionable boo-boo's.

    Description

    Is your antique collar / vanity trinket box missing its lid?  If so, here's the replacemement.  Total diameter is 5.5", but the underside has a fitter rim looking for a 5" opening.  (So overhang of 1/4" all around the fitter rim).
    White milk glass textured relief as previously painted with a greenish gold. That paint is substantially eroded, as is usually the case with these antique pieces.
    The lid has the word "Collars" embossed on top.  The foliate decoration runs around the edge, about 0.75" wide.
    Sorry, I don't know the manufacturer.  I see similar pieces listed as made by Westmoreland or Dithridge.
