Up for sale is a very nice quality antique black amethyst polo player dresser box which I believe is made from either marble or stoneware.
The base is thick black amethyst and has a green glass lid
that sits recessed into the base.
The lid has a hand-painted
enameled
equestrian polo player on horseback painted on the lid done in high relief being the enamel is laid on thick.
It's in nice condition and is skillfully done.
It measures 5 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches tall.
